Syenta awarded 2024 Physical Sciences Fund by the Office of the NSW Chief Scientist & Engineer

We’re thrilled to announce that Syenta has been selected as one of the recipients of the prestigious 2024 Physical Sciences Fund (PSF), awarded by the Office of the NSW Chief Scientist & Engineer.

With our stamp-based deposition technology, we can fabricate the critical chip components needed for AI and quantum computing faster and cheaper. This funding will accelerate our product development and bring some critical capabilities in-house.

The PSF backs bold innovations across the physical sciences that deliver real-world impact—and we’re proud to be recognised alongside other pioneering NSW companies. With this funding, we’ll be advancing our unique Localised Electrochemical Modelling (LEM) technology by scaling up the area of our stamp deposition process for advanced packaging applications.

LEM represents a paradigm shift in semiconductor manufacturing. By combining deposition and patterning into a single additive step, LEM streamlines the traditionally complex and costly advanced packaging process. The result? Faster, safer, and more scalable production of high-performance electronics.

We’re grateful to the NSW Government and the Office of the Chief Scientist & Engineer for their support and belief in our vision. Onward to a smarter, more efficient semiconductor future.
